Michael D. McMillion, MSPA-C

Michael McMillion is a native of southern West Virginia. He completed his Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering
Technology at the College of West Virginia in 1995 but eventually made the decision to enter the medical field. In 2003, he received his Bachelor of Medical Science and Master of Science Physician Assistant degrees from Mountain State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. After graduation, McMillion remained at Mountain State University, serving as a Physician Assistant at a family care/primary care clinic, before serving as a faculty member and eventually Academic Coordinator for the Physician Assistant program. In 2012, he became the Program Director for the Physician Assistant program as Mountain State University transitioned to University of Charleston-Beckley. In 2016, McMillion served as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Princeton Community Hospital, then moving to Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, where he served as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant and later an Infectious Disease Physician Assistant.

His diverse experience in a wide variety of clinical settings brought McMillion to The Greenbrier Clinic, where he embraces the personal
interaction with each patient. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, fitness, gardening and archery.
