Sherri Gwinn, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Sherri Gwinn is a native of southern West Virginia. She completed her Associate of Science in Nursing from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in 2006, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bluefield State College in 2009, and Masters of Science in Nursing from Marshall University in 2016. Prior nursing experience predominately involved Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department experience.

During clinical rotations, she gained experience in primary care, women’s health, in addition to specialized care. She is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center and a member of American Nurses Association, West Virginia Nurse Association, and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing.

At a very young age, Sherri knew her calling in life was to take care of others. “There is nothing more rewarding than to know you have personally made a difference in someone’s life.” Sherri’s goals as a health care provider is to provide knowledge, support, and care customized to each individual’s needs as well as inspire patients to take an active role in achieving their healthcare goals. She is dedicated in developing a partnership that promotes a healthy patient-provider relationship built upon mutual respect and trust
