Clinical Psychologist

Ashlee Reece joined The Greenbrier Clinic in April of 2017.  A graduate of Marshall University, Mrs. Reece became a supervised psychologist in September 2008, and independently licensed in September 2015.  Mrs. Reece previously had a private practice reaching out to many underserved areas throughout southern West Virginia.

Mrs. Reece provides a variety of services including psychological evaluations, professional consultation, individual therapy, and family therapy.  Her theoretical or conceptual framework includes cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic approaches, and solution focused therapy.  Mrs. Reece stated, “My specialty focus at the Greenbrier Clinic is stress management using a holistic approach.  Many of the issues clients struggle with are related to stress from their past or present at home, as well as at work. Receiving professional care for physical problems is just as important as care for stress related mental problems.  Mrs. Reece enjoys working with individuals from all diverse backgrounds and encouraging the use of relaxation techniques and assisting clients with healthier lifestyle choices”.

Mrs. Reece is on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greenbrier Valley and the Greenbrier County Health Alliance.  She is a member of the American Psychological Association and West Virginia Association of Professional Psychologists.  A West Virginia native, Mrs. Reece currently resides in White Sulphur Springs with her daughter, Haley Jo and husband, Richard.
