Patrick Ryan, MD

Dr. Patrick Ryan is a native West Virginian who practiced in the Greenbrier Valley prior to joining the Greenbrier Clinic in 2017. He graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2004, and completed a combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency at Charleston Area Medical Center/WVU-Charleston. He is board certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. Prior to joining the Greenbrier Clinic, he was an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and Course Director of Medical Ethics at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He was also the Internal Medicine Chair at the Robert C Byrd Clinic, and Chief of Staff at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. In addition to his role at the Greenbrier Clinic, he serves as an Assistant Medical Director for the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. His special interests include metabolic disorders and adult survivors of chronic childhood conditions. He, his wife Beth and his family reside in the Greenbrier Valley.
